The new Thirst Pockets on pack promotion offers shoppers the chance to win a brand new kitchen up to the value of £10,000.
According to a survey conducted by Zopa last year (http://ow.ly/wPhgd), almost three quarters of two-person households (74%) and an astounding 91% of four-person households want to improve their home!
And it’s all about the kitchen, as it accounts for 24% of wished for home improvements - the single largest item.
The promotion, created for Thirst Pockets by marketing agency TLC, directly targets the brand’s core family audience. It steers towards the growing importance of the home in the UK; differentiating the brand in a quite mature market.
In addition, the “super absorbent” kitchen towel brand is also giving away 20 Tefal pan sets and rewarding everyone who engages with the promotion with a 2 for 1 Takeaway voucher valid across a wide selection of UK and ROI takeaway outlets.
The on pack promotion launched at the beginning of April will run on all packs of Thirst Pockets until 31st August 2014, with promotional packs available in both the multiple and convenience channels.
The Thirst Pockets kitchen towel brand stands out due to its high capacity for absorbency, a characteristic which is valued by the consumer when using it in the kitchen. The exclusive technology is distinctive, Thirst Pockets is made up of a ‘weave of absorbent circles’, which is demonstrated in its every day usage, especially in the kitchen when required to absorb and hold liquids with speed and efficiency. The historic image of the elephant on the pack highlights this together with the claim ‘the power of an elephant in just one sheet.’
