Ben Fillery joins as the agency’s first strategic planner Hayley Barham will work to deliver the agency vision

TLC Marketing UK has taken on new staff in its planning, partner and account handling teams as part of plans to develop more creative rewards and promotions.

John Pearson, who heads up the London agency, says: “This is a very exciting time for TLC and these appointments reflect the way we are growing, with existing clients like Direct Line and new ones, such as Sony and HTC, appointing us to help deliver business growth.”

Ben Fillery joins the expanding planning department. Sharing his time between new business and retained clients, he brings expertise across multiple communications channels with a specialism in shopper and retail activation. Ben was previously at The Marketing Store and Momentum Worldwide where he worked brands such as Microsoft, HTC, Subway and McDonald’s.

Hayley Barham has also joined the Marylebone based agency and brings with her a wealth of experience in planning and strategy across the whole marketing mix. She will work closely with Pearson delivering the agency vision and taking TLC to new heights.
She joined from Direct Line where she was responsible for the marketing strategy and business performance for Direct Line Motor Insurance. She worked with TLC during her time at Direct Line on promotional campaigns including the Free Cinema Card that was featured at MWL 2013.
She has also worked as a Senior Planner and Buyer at one of the world’s biggest media agencies, Mediacom. Here she worked on big accounts such as T-Mobile, Burberry, RBS and Direct Line.

Also joining the TLC team is Vicki Barnes, Senior Partnership and Content Manager.  Vicki, who has worked both client and agency side in varying sectors, has joined us with a brief to develop the reward and partnership offering. And finally, Emma Newton, Account Manager, from whynot!, having worked on clients included The Times, Sunday Times and Hearst Magazines UK.
They both will ensure that clients are equipped with the relevant information to optimise the collaborations with TLC.
