TLC Marketing are delighted to announce they have been awarded a 1 star accolade from Best Companies, the workplace engagement specialists. The Best Companies Accreditation Standard follows the elite Michelin style star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. Just two points off of a two star ‘outstanding’ award, TLC Marketing UK was voted as one of the best places to work by staff themselves. 

Priding themselves in their unique ‘family’ culture TLC’s Group HR Director Emily Evans said, “This is a wonderful achievement and one we are very proud of as it represents not only our fabulous UK business but our global HQ too.”  

The TLC Way

Happy people create better work, and that great work creates happy clients. To this end TLC Marketing are proud of their rewarding culture that encourages people’s personalities to shine through. 

TLC Marketing run two seasonal parties a year which, bring the whole agency together at bars, on dance floors and even on stage with the band. Their People Academy is a training resource open to anyone in the business and there is even a “What if?” scheme where staff are welcomed and encouraged to share their ideas directly with the Chairman and CEO. Nick and Alec will personally read through them all and decide which ones to bring to life. Not only does the person win a prize for their idea, but the new initiative will be named after them.

The fun and games don’t stop there. Staff are treated to drinks at 5pm every Friday, quarterly picnics and everyone’s birthday is celebrated with a card and a cake. That’s a lot of calories to burn so you might spot the TLC clan out on their “gentle-ish” jog club around Regents Park...not for the faint hearted. There are also more conventional benefits such as, eye care vouchers, childcare vouchers, ride 2 work scheme, share options, free health screenings and long service awards it’s no wonder the people hardly ever leave.
