This autumn Bosch brought the nation’s love for baking into homes by rewarding customers with a free, personalised baking kit worth more than £80 when they purchased selected promotional kitchen appliances.
Every baker loves adding their own personal touch to recipes, making their creations all that more special for loved ones. Bosch, together with TLC Marketing UK offered foodies a cream-coloured, customised baking kit; including a twill apron with a pocket, oven glove and a dome cake tin. Customers had up to 20 characters to print their name or a custom message to put sentiment at the heart of their creations.
Whether a first time baker or a professional pâtissier, the "Mixed by Bosch. Baked by you” campaign inspired imaginations to create whatever the heart desires from chocolate fondant puddings to a Tiramisu.
Customers who qualified for the free personalised kit could redeem via the promotional website with a copy of the receipt, with the date and product code clearly visible.
The promotion ran from 1st September to 13th October 2016 and coincided with the increasingly popular hobby of home baking thanks to programmes such as The Great British Bake Off and MasterChef.
This campaign is a great example of how brands can be efficient when it comes to tactical marketing around “themed weeks”. Campaigns like this work so well because they don't feel intrusive and it lets brands become involved, without being too obvious.
