Spring time: the days get brighter, our winter shackles begin to shed and there are suddenly people are feeling a little happier about life in general; and why wouldn't they. Look at what events the UK has to offer this spring.


The London Marathon

Visitors: 38,000 runners, of which 4,535 participate from overseas with an average of 75,000 spectators lining the streets. In 2010 an estimated £27m was pumped into hotel bookings, food and drink by spectators alone. Don’t miss out on the action. European Aquatics Championship, Olympic Stadium, Stratford

The Aquatics venue hold 17,500 spectators per event. Why not offer your guests the chance to redeem a free family swim session, or diving lesson for the children? We worked with Brioche Pasquier to get children more activite with a campaign that rewarded every customer with a free kids sports session.

Queens 90th Birthday celebration

25,000 tickets were snapped up in just five hours which, highlights just how popular this event is going to be. Thousands of people will be flocking the streets of Winsor and London as they soak up the Royal atmosphere. Why not offer your guests a right Royal Day out with a VIP experience or complimentary travel to the event if they have been lucky enough to get tickets. We've worked with a British brand with their own long standing reign, The AA. "AA Going Further" campaign offered customers a £20 pre paid MasterCard creativley packaged up as free fuel to power your next journey. 

The Chelsea Flower Show

It takes 800 people 33 days to build the show. The highest number of foreign exhibitors come from Holland and figures show upwards of 161,000 people will visit the show this year. FA Cup Final

Wembley Stadium can hold 80,000 spectators, not to mention the thousands who come to soak up the atmosphere in the surrounding pubs and bars.
