Job Title: Creative Director
We are looking for a bright, ambitious, idea-led creative to inspire the whole of TLC Marketing Portugal and to lead and build their creative team and studio - turning it from a ‘department’ into a culture that positively affects all aspects of the business - making TLC Portugal into a multi award winning, fully integrated sales promotion agency.
The ideal candidate will have a fully integrated communications portfolio which is packed with innovative ideas, both in terms of promotional mechanics, campaign positionings and executions and preferably a solid understanding of the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
They will report into the CEO & to the Operations Director at a local level and the Group Creative Director, Rob Scott at an international level.
Working with Planning to hone briefs
Conceptualising of mechanics and 360 degree promotional campaign to scamp level, minimum
Strong ideas, both copy and art direction led
Helping management grow the business
The candidate must have an excellent “visual culture”, a hands-on attitude and an interest for the actual execution of concepts
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years agency experience and come from an integrated or digital background
Either art or copy based – but able to write conceptual headlines
They will be confident in presenting ideas internally and externally
They will understand and embrace TLC’s business model
Speak good English
In Design literate
Interests outside work
Full of energy; passionate but pragmatic.
This is a relatively new division so a ‘start-up’ mentality is essential.
They will need the confidence to challenge some deep rooted thinking at a senior level
Be patient – proper understanding of creative is a new concept!
